Medicare does not presently cover stairlifts. Unfortunately, they do not consider stairlifts a medical necessity.
All stairlifts that we sell are DC powered and will work up to 20 cycles (depending upon model). A cycle is 1 – up and 1- down.

Approximately 1 1/2  – 2 1/2 hours for a straight stairlift. 3 1/2 to 5 hours for a custom curved unit.

Yes, we stock our most popular models for quick installation. If one of our stock stairlifts will work for you, we can typically have a stairlift installed in your home within 2 to 3 days. If you require a specific model or specific options, it can take a week to 10 days to obtain the unit.

Depending upon the model, typically between 4 and 6 weeks.
Due to the fact that stairlifts have to be cut and fit specifically for each staircase, we do not rent stairlifts. We researched what a few companies that rent them charge and found the the cost to the customer very quickly reached the purchase price of a new unit.
Our published prices do not include sales tax but if a doctor’s prescription is supplied, sales tax is not required.

All our stairlifts require a regular A/C outlet to plug the battery charger into. They come with enough wire to reach approximately 20ft along your baseboards/wall so we typically have no problem finding a place to plug them in.

In most instances, we can give you an accurate quote for a straight stairlift right over the telephone. once you answer a few basic questions. Custom curved lits are a bit more complicated and while we can give you an estimate, we can’t be completely accurate without an in-home evaluation.
